Reed finished with figures of 1/41 from 4 Overs, thanks to a rampage by Heat openers Jimmy Peirson (57 off 35) and Peter Forrest (62 off 43) with Dan Christian smashing 34 off 9. Heat finished with 208 on the board after 20 Overs.
But Hurricanes chased down the daunting target with one over to spare after an explosive opening by Ben Dunk (67 off ) & Tim Paine (55 off 25) rattling up 120 runs in 9 overs. George Bailey ensured there were no hiccups in the end with a 12 ball 28*.

Glenn Maxwell: Weirdest Cricket Dismissal Ever!
By : UnknownBrisbane Heat beat Melbourne Stars by 1 Run
Obstructing the Field? Batsman getting timed-out?.... I bet You haven't seen something like this:
Yes, Glenn Maxwell, "the Big Show" actually left the ball. Isn't it totally Bizzare?
This happened today in a Big Bash League Match against Brisbane Heat, Maxwell charged down the wicket on his first ball & left it thinking that the ball pitching on off stump would leave him with the angle, but it was an absolute beauty by Ryan Duffield which nipped back in sharply & crashed into his middle & leg stump.
Anyways, we got another candidate for slip of the year early in 2015! Jake Reed's awkward slip on BBL debut, as if Maxwell wasn't enough for you!
Commentators as well as the viewers were totally flabbergasted on watching it. Enjoy the video folks!
