.
The Singing sensation changed costume twice as she performed to the 40,000-strong crowd and up to 8 million viewers at home.
After the show she tweeted she had an "amazing night" and said she it was an "honour to be there."
Lulu also returned to the stage to perform her hit "Shout" while fellow Scot Dougie Maclean sang his classic Caledonia, a song which has grown to become a common part of Scottish culture and an unofficial national anthem.
The ceremony rounded off with fireworks and a mass performance of Auld Lang Syne.
Scotland may have said farewell but all eyes will be on Australia when they host the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast in 2018.
