Meet Jake Reed, Right Arm Medium Pacer making his Big Bash League debut won't forget this start for a very, very long time. Reed was picket to represent Hobart Hurricanes for the first time against the Brisbane Heat & his start was.... whatever you may say, memorable! :)
Reed finished with figures of 1/41 from 4 Overs, thanks to a rampage by Heat openers Jimmy Peirson (57 off 35) and Peter Forrest (62 off 43) with Dan Christian smashing 34 off 9. Heat finished with 208 on the board after 20 Overs.
But Hurricanes chased down the daunting target with one over to spare after an explosive opening by Ben Dunk (67 off ) & Tim Paine (55 off 25) rattling up 120 runs in 9 overs. George Bailey ensured there were no hiccups in the end with a 12 ball 28*.

Glenn Maxwell: Weirdest Cricket Dismissal Ever!
By : UnknownBrisbane Heat beat Melbourne Stars by 1 Run
Obstructing the Field? Batsman getting timed-out?.... I bet You haven't seen something like this:
Yes, Glenn Maxwell, "the Big Show" actually left the ball. Isn't it totally Bizzare?
This happened today in a Big Bash League Match against Brisbane Heat, Maxwell charged down the wicket on his first ball & left it thinking that the ball pitching on off stump would leave him with the angle, but it was an absolute beauty by Ryan Duffield which nipped back in sharply & crashed into his middle & leg stump.
Anyways, we got another candidate for slip of the year early in 2015! Jake Reed's awkward slip on BBL debut, as if Maxwell wasn't enough for you!
Commentators as well as the viewers were totally flabbergasted on watching it. Enjoy the video folks!
Shahid Afridi quits ODIs
By : UnknownAfridi to retire after World Cup 2015
Shahid Afridi, the veteran Pakistan All-Rounder has announced that he will retire from One Day Cricket after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to be held in February-March in Australia & New Zealand.
"My journey has seen many ups and downs but I am feeling satisfied that I am leaving on my own terms," Afridi wrote on Twitter.
The 34-year-old Afridi, already retired from Tests in 2010, said the decision was "hard" but he had to leave with an eye to the future of the team.
"My 18 years' dream dedicated to Pakistan. First ever player (respect) to have taken such a hard decision but (it) will pave way for many new talents."
Afridi was the captain of the national team that lost to eventual Champions India in the semifinals in the 2011 World Cup. He has played 389 ODIs, hitting the fastest century (off 37 balls) on his debut in October 1996 against Sri Lanka in Nairobi at the tender age of 16. The record stood for more than 17 years before Kiwi Corey Anderson broke it in January this year by just 1 ball's margin.
"I am happy about my achievements and records but the only regret I have is losing fastest ODI century record," he said.
The flamboyant cricketer has scored 7,870 ODI runs at an average of 23.49 and a strike-rate of 116.29. He has also taken 391 wickets, the sixth-highest in ODIs, at 33.89 and an economy-rate of 4.62.
"Thank you so much for all your support and prayers throughout my ODI career ... it means alot to me ... love you all!"
Misbah dazzles to record fastest ton against Australia
By : UnknownMisbah scores Hundred off 56 Balls
Misbah earlier completed the fastest fifty in test match cricket off just 21 deliveries breaking the previous record made by Jacques Kallis against Zimbabwe at Cape Down in 2004.
He pelted the Australian bowlers to all parts of the ground, Steven Smith being the victim of his all out attack, recieving 3 sixes and a four in a single over and another six in his next over.
The previous record for the fastest fifty in test cricket for Pakistan was held by Shahid Afridi (26 balls)--against arch-rivals India at Bangalore in 2005 whereas the record for fastest ton was recorded by Majid Khan in 1976 off 74 balls against New Zealand at Karachi.
Pakistan are pushing for their first test series victory against Australia since 1994 & are already 1-0 ahead after winning the first test by 221 runs & setting up a mammoth target of 603 runs in the second test with Australia reeling at 143/4 at the end of play on Day 4.
Consecutive Sixes by Marsh takes Perth Scorchers past Dolphins in a Thriller
By : UnknownMitchell Marsh hits 2 sixes off last 2 balls
What comes to mind when you look at the scoreline in a T20 match, the team chasing needs 12 runs off the last 2 deliveries?
Impossible, Improbable to say the least.
But Mitchell Marsh, the exceptionally talented Australian All-Rounder achieved the impossible feat in a Champions League T20 group stage match for Australia's Perth Scorchers against South Africa's Dolphins.
Earlier, Dolphins overcame a top-order collapse to put up a fighting total of 164/7 on the board after winning the toss & choosing to bat.
March was awarded Man-of-the-Match for his innings of 40 off 26 balls.
Dolphins themselves hammered 67 runs in the last 6 overs of their innings.

By : Unknown
Harare:South Africa defeated Australia by 6 wickets in a dominating fashion, to win the tri-series ODI final at Harare Sports Club with another outstanding innings by Faf du Plessis on Saturday.
He scored a brilliant 96 from 99 balls & just missed out on another ton, his 4th in 5 innings of the series as South Africa chased down Australia's sub-par total of 217-9.
South Africa won with almost 10 overs to spare, but Du Plessis was caught trying to hit the four that would have won the game & brought him his century.
Meanwhile, Captain AB de Villiers smashed a boundary next ball to finish at 57* out & guide South Africa to another triumph.
Earlier, Fast bowler Dale Steyn set up the win with his fiery spell of 4-34 as Australia were reduced to 144-8, followed by a late recovery by all-rounder James Faulkner & Fast Bowler .
Glenn Maxwell Unveils Mystery Shot
By : Unknown
Australia's star All-Rounder, known for his destructive batting, Glenn Maxwell has unvieled his new mystery shot.
The 25-year-old plays a slight modification from the upper cut which has been seen played by Indian batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag in recent years. The difference, however being that the shot played by Maxwell is from much closer to his body.
He said: "I played it in England and got a boundary for it, so I might try and bring it out in Australia. It's off a short ball. You might see it this summer" speaking to Cricket Australia.
Maxwell might unleash the new shot in the upcoming triangular ODI series against Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Earlier, Kedar Jadhav (78) & Manoj Tiwary (50) managed to keep the Indian team in hunt with their fighting fifties before being scalped by Ben Cutting (3/46).
The Australian skipper Cameron White smashed a stupendous 137 off 150 balls to set up Australia's challenging total.
White & fellow opener Phil Hughes (51) combined for a 146-run stand that provided the hosts a solid start after opting to bat.
Once Dhawal Kulkarni (3/51) scalped Hughes, the visitors kept getting wickets at regular intervals which helped them restrict Australia to a chaseable total.
