Neymar Jr is in Japan for a series of promotional events. He was very optimistic about his physical shape: “I am recovering from the injury day by day. I’ll be coming back to Barcelona 100% fit" he said to the Japanese Media.
Neymar Jr will return to FC Barcelona on the 5 August, & he expects himself to be fit for the Joan Gamper Trophy match. The 22-year-old Brazilian can’t wait to get started: "I want to have a really good season and I'm looking forward to helping my teammates to get some good results".
Neymar Jr. suffered a fracture in his third lumbar vertebra after a brutal knee in the back by Zuniga in the quarter-final match against Colombia in the FIFA World Cup 2014. Since then, he’s on recovery, following a treatment schedule in accordance with the Club Medical Services and the CBF.
