Hockenheim: Nico Rosberg won the German Grand Prix on Sunday thereby stretching his lead in the Formula One drivers' championship over teammate Lewis Hamilton, who finished 3rd after starting 20th.
4-time defending champion Vettel came 4th, ahead of Fernando Alonso who won his battle with Red Bull's Ricciardo for 5th spot.
A collision took place at the 1st corner between McLaren's Kevin Magnussen and Felipe Massa's Williams, which flipped over & slid across the run-off area.
Rosberg took his lead to 14 points.
